Limitations and alternatives

Despite our best efforts to ensure accessibility of MAXIMS Enterprise, there may be some limitations. Below is a description of known limitations, and potential solutions. Please contact us if you observe an issue not listed below.

Known limitations for MAXIMS Enterprise

1.Keyboard Accessible

Individual forms and controls can easily be accessed using keyboard only, however, accessing data within tables and switching between frames is not currently possible. Accessing Right Click menu options with the keyboard are also not possible as the framework does not natively support this control method. Through our JSCN web technologies we are actively reviewing and adding support for full keyboard navigation to ensure all areas of the application are supported with keyboard only access.

Currently a combination of Keyboard and mouse is required, and the mouse should be used switch between frames, access data tables and the right click context options.

2.Contrast Ratio

Some elements of MAXIMS Enterprise have a gradient colour scheme. These gradients impact the contrast ratios where implemented. IMS MAXIMS is actively looking at updating the colour scheme to remove the gradients that impact the contrast the ratio.

3.Screen Readers not supported

Aria Tags are not currently implemented within the framework. IMS Maxims is Actively seeking to implementing ARIA tags to the framework.
