| IMS has approximately 35 development staff actively working on new developments and improvements to the MAXIMS range of products. The development and programming skills available include Java, JavaScript, C#, C++, Visual Basic, MUMPS, SQL, .NET and J2EE. These skills can be used to provide products or development services for a wide range of deployment technologies.
Product development and service support is undertaken from offices in Woburn Sands (Buckinghamshire) and Dublin. The offices are connected via a highly secure VPN. Both are equipped with a state of the art computer equipment and servers, allowing staff to undertake development work in addition to providing a service desk and associated support services for existing clients.
Software Development is carried out using the IMS proprietary tool known as IMSIDE. The environment enforces a structured development methodology, from capturing requirements using Use Cases through to release management and version control of release packages.
IMS has considerable experience of joint development of software. From the early days of European Community funded projects to the recent National Treatment Purchase Fund in Ireland.
Extensive experience is also available at building web-based applications. A development framework for healthcare applications can also be provided.
