IMS MAXIMS continues its support for mental health by sponsoring the fast approaching Mental Health conference, Moving Forwards – The Five Year Plan, on 10th March at the Manchester Conference Centre.
With a new era for mental health care on the horizon the conference will explore how the new national strategy for mental health services can drive action so that people across all ages can get the right help at the right time. This includes expanding access to digital services and IMS MAXIMS recognise that digital technology has the potential to transform the way clinicians and patients use and access mental health services.
The conference will offer practical guidance, advice and real examples to help transform and improve mental health care from those leading on the five year strategy, including keynote speakers Isabella Goldie, director of development & delivery, Mental Health Foundation; Dr Geraldine Strathdee OBE, national clinical director mental health, NHS England and Dr Lesley Stevens, medical director, Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust.
Delegates will also gain a greater understanding of the forward direction, the likely impact on both services and service users, and the actions that can deliver real change.
Shane Tickell, CEO of IMS MAXIMS, said: “As we enter a new era for mental health, with the Five Year Forward View for Mental Health setting out the framework for the future, now is the time to rethink mental health services. Together, we have the opportunity to maximise the benefits of technology and deliver better integration, quality and experience of care.
We are very pleased to support the Mental Health: Moving Forward conference and are committed to help facilitate the required transformational change through greater and better use of technology.”
IMS MAXIMS business development managers Ian Johnson and Dawn Rees will be attending the conference and will be available to discuss how our simple yet effective solutions can support health and care professionals in treating patients. To arrange an appointment, please contact Ian on 07801 033 457 or Dawn on 07809 341 878.
