In celebration of 70 years of the NHS, IMS MAXIMS has partnered with health policy analyst Roy Lilley to gift the institution and its staff a new book: ’70 Questions and More: A workbook for the Board and Senior Managers’.
A distillation of Roy’s 50 years of working in and around the NHS, the book poses questions, and provokes thought and reflection, on some of the biggest issues facing the NHS including IT, Finance, HR and change management.
Although primarily aimed at Senior Managers, Executives and the Board, the book is a valuable read for anyone in a management role. It will help them understand the required priorities and focus of the organisation’s Board and can be used to facilitate team workshops to explore specific issues and challenges.
Commenting on the launch, IMS MAXIMS, CEO, Shane Tickell, said:
“IMS MAXIMS has partnered with the NHS for 32 years – for nearly half of the institution’s existence. In that time, we have been honoured to work with Trusts across the country, co-creating digital solutions that make services safer and more efficient, and sharing best practice that enables the widespread adoption of tech-enabled care.
We are therefore delighted to work with Roy on the publication of this eBook, which tackles some of the most important issues facing the NHS now, and for the next 70 years, including technology and change management. It’s a must read and we thank Roy for letting us be a part of it.”
Roy Lilley added:
I’m very pleased that IMS MAXIMS has given me the opportunity to create this eBook. It’s a collection of experiences, recollections, advice and ideas that I have gleaned from people far cleverer than me. It’s a book for the Board, Senior Managers and everyone interested in how organisations work and the challenges they face. It’s a workbook and I hope you enjoy making it work for you!”
