QA Automation Engineers – Dublin

Essential to the role:

We are looking for QA Automation Engineers who are professional and friendly, persistent and flexible, decisive and consultative. You will develop, maintain and execute automated test scripts working closely with the software engineering and mobile app teams to review Unit and Functional test coverage.

Expectations:

  • Design, maintain and execute automated test scripts, scenarios and scripts for all areas of our MAXIMS mHealth and Enterprise product suite
  • Work with a variety of automated test tools – these may include Ranorex, Selenium Web Driver, Cucumber / JBehave, Ruby, Jenkins, Java, Python, PostMan, JMeter etc Create excellent reports, test plans and other QA documentation for senior stakeholders
  • Develop and/or specify standards, methods or procedures to determine product quality or release readiness
  • Document concisely software defects using our bug software tracking system in JIRA Comply with testing principals and processes and be able to follow test scripts
  • Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes
  • Enforce QA standards, code/script quality and best-practices
  • Anticipate product release problems and take corrective action, escalating as needed, to resolve and achieve commitments
  • You must have excellent communication skills
  • Excellent trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills
  • Strong application process flow and problem-solving technique
  • The ability to quickly learn new functionality and retain knowledge

Essential Skills:

  • Extensive experience in creating and executing automation scripts
  • Functional Testing and exposure to Automation Load and Performance Testing
  • Experience in version control systems such as SVN and Git
  • Experience in build tools such as Maven and Gradle
  • Experience in the automation of RESTful web & messaging services and backend systems would be required
  • Strong understanding of different software development life cycles and contemporary software quality assurance processes and automated tools
  • ISTQB Certificate is desirable
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in QA Automation, preferably in an agile environment
