The IMS MAXIMS Foundation is a charity run by the employees from IMS MAXIMS, with the sole objective of raising money to fund good causes. It is a very simple concept the foundation raises money through fun or challenging activities and distribute it to worthy causes.
In particular, we provide ongoing support for CancerCare. Established in 1983 by a small group of volunteers from the caring professions, CancerCare provides support and services to people with cancer and their families in the North Lancashire and South Lakeland area.
IMS MAXIMS CEO Shane Tickell, born and raised in Kendal in Cumbria, has an association with the charity as it had provided support to his own family when his father was diagnosed with cancer during the mid-1990s. When the charity, which currently supports more than 1,500 people each year, selected the IMS MAXIMS solution after a commercial procurement for a new administration and clinic management system, we decided to provide the entire solution as a donation.
“It’s essential that a charity like ours can deliver services with efficiency and effectiveness. The IMS MAXIMS solution will help us do exactly that, bringing our administration right up to date with a top-class modern system of exactly the kind we needed.”
